Complete Vehicle Inspections
The Uptown Auto Service Complete Vehicle Inspection is a cost-effective way to find, not only existing problems, but potential future problems as well. Our experienced, certified technician first performs a test drive, checking the ride and handling of the vehicle, listening for any unusual noises, and looking for any warning lamps on the instrument panel. He then performs a through bumper-to-bumper visual inspection of the vehicle, an under-the-hood visual inspection of the engine and related systems, checks all fluid levels and checks for fluid leaks. He then raises the vehicle on a lift and visually inspects the underside, checking for excessive corrosion, leaking shocks or struts, worn, broken or loose parts in the steering linkage and suspension, and broken or rusted exhaust system components. He then removes the wheels, inspects the condition of the tires, measuring the tread depth and checking inflation pressure. He then inspects the brakes, checking the condition of all mechanical parts, measures the thickness of the pad and rotor, and checks for any hydraulic leaks.
You, the owner, are provided with an easy to understand report outlining the condition of your vehicle, including any recommendations for service or repair.
